Hi, I'm Dr. DiNezza
I’ve partnered with hundreds of people helped them overcome IBS/SIBO, build a resilient microbiome, reintroduce FODMAPs and carbs, and finally start living with confidence and freedom. Will you be next?
I know what it’s like to be where you are. Every meal feels like a gamble. Missing out on outings because your diet feels impossible to manage at a restaurant. Your "off limits" food list is longer than your actual grocery list. It’s exhausting.
As a Functional Medicine Practitioner and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I believe deeply in the healing power of food. But, I also know that healing does not come from restriction. We can't starve our way to better health. You deserve a care plan that brings back nourishment, clarity, and joy.
I love helping people reconnect with their bodies and make sense out of symptoms that used to feel chaotic or confusing.
If this sounds like the path you've been looking for, I'd be honored to support you inside FODMAP Freedom.
Dr. Nicole DiNezza, DC, NTP

Hi, I'm Dr. DiNezza
I’ve helped hundreds of people just like you treat their IBS or SIBO, rehab their microbiome, reintroduce FODMAPs, and live their dang life again.
I know what it’s like to be where you are right now. I know what it’s like to fear food. I know what it’s like to miss out on outings because my diet was impossible to manage at a restaurant. I know what it’s like to try to function with a list of “cannot eat” foods a mile long- it’s exhausting.
As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I strongly believe that food has the power to heal. I have also learned that we cannot restrict or starve our way to good health- we need to add good nutrition. We need to add joy to our treatment plans!
You can trust me to help you.
Let’s get those FODMAPs back in your diet once and for all.

SIBO isn't actually difficult to treat! Your protocols aren't working because they were built on an inaccurate foundation. You were taught to chase the wrong thing from day one!
Most of the practitioners I've talked to are deeply frustrated by SIBO. They want to help their patients feel better, but just aren't getting results with their standard SIBO protocols.
Similarly, SIBO patients are frustrated and feel hopeless. They've been told that they have a "tough" or "difficult" case one time too many, and now they believe that they'll never feel better.
The reality is that SIBO doesn't have to be frustrating or difficult to treat. You just need the right approach.

The Perfect Diet For SIBO
Everybody talks about "starving the SIBO" as though it were fact. But, in reality, there is zero scientific evidence to support the idea of "starving" SIBO with special diets.
Unfortunately, what IS supported in research is that these diets increase the risk of nutritional deficiencies and deepen the state of dysbiosis in the IBS or SIBO patient [reference 1, reference 2]. Obviously, neither of these things is conducive to healing.
All that being said, these diets can be used to manage symptoms in the beginning of your journey. Diets that may help decrease symptoms of gas, bloating, indigestion, IBS, and SIBO include:
- The Low FODMAP Diet
- The Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)
- The Bi-phasic Diet
- The Low Fermentation Diet (recommended by Cedars Sinai and Mark Pimentel, MD)
- Combination FODMAP/SCD (recommended by Allison Siebecker, ND)
Can SIBO Really Be Cured/Helped?
Absolutely. SIBO often responds very well to dietary changes, herbal medicine, supplements, vitamins, and life coaching. I feel very lucky to be able to change lives every day and help people with this condition.
